ASTD has formed the ASTD Certification Institute to take the lead and set professional standards/industry standards for courseware development. Designed for asynchronous Web-based and multimedia courses, the E-Learning Courseware Certification (ECC) recognizes courses that excel in usability and instructional design. ReadyRN: Disaster Nursing and Emergency Preparedness Online Course:    Written by Tener Goodwin Veenema, PhD, MPH, MS, CPNP, an internationally renowned disaster nursing and emergency preparedness expert, ReadyRN is a comprehensive, competency-based disaster nursing and emergency preparedness program, consisting of 25 online lessons. These lessons includes current, valid, and reliable content that is consistent with FEMA’s all-hazards approach, the National Response Plan, and the National Incident Management System, and will help nurses act quickly and competently in disaster situations. HFMA Avoiding Claims Denials Curriculum:    HFMA presents a series of e-learning lessons to help organizations develop a successful claims denial management program, with an emphasis on avoiding claims denials.

Many of the lessons are geared toward helping front-line staff understand their important role in helping their organizations avoid claims denials. The lessons teach staff how to accurately obtain important information from the patient the first time, so that back-end rework is not necessary. CIW Master Administrator Curriculum (from ProsoftTraining):    Composed of three (3) five-day series equivalents, with each course representing an Internet job role (i.e., Server Administrator, Internetworking Professional and Security Professional) with its own certification exam. CIW Foundation Curriculum (from ProsoftTraining):    The first step toward any Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Certification is the Foundation curricula, which includes basic information on Internet technology, Web Page development and network administration.

EduCode Medical Terminology:    Completing the lessons in the EduCode Medical Terminology Curriculum enables learners to better understand what medical terms are specifically, the word parts of medical terms, why they are important, and who uses them.
